You cannot get HIV from the scenario that you described. HIV is only transmitted by unprotected sex, from mother to child and from sharing IV for durgs. Your risk is non-existent. Put this behind you and move on with your life.

What is the chance of getting hit by a lightening? it is too low to be considered. You do not have fear of getting hit by lightening when you go out in the morning. Most barbers clean the trimmers with an antiseptic solution between customers. When outside the body, HIV is a very weak virus, and easy to kill.
if you barber is following proper techniques (as taught in barber school) you should have no problem.

no hiv dies when it hits the air but there are other things that don't ask if he sterilzes it between use
