With 1600 yards plus and a 234 yard or so game in 2006 I don't think one year out will have diminished him so much. The fact that the Giants proved they don't need him as we all saw probably fuels some rage in him. He is a smart guy n all but a sell out to football fans. The best defensive end at the time goes for more money in a game that can cripple you and Mr. Self Righteous himself who barely had career numbers at the time dogs him in the media? That lowered my respect for him to some degree. I dont think he will return. After the Giants showed that his success had a lot to do with their fantastic o-line. A 6th round (7th?) rookie can ran great behind them this year! I don't know if a team would offer him enough money to come play for them. I also think his broadcasting career is near its end as well, now that he cant talk about the giants anymore, what else does he have to offer? At least he still has his Cameos on Bravo's fashion shows.
