Usually barbers have books of the hairs they will give you.
if its not in there, most likley he might not know how to do it even if you give him a picture
what your looking for is a blow out. but like a guido verison tho.
You absolutely must find a photo of it and print it out for your barber to see. It's very hard to describe a haircut and the last thing you want is to walk around with funny hair. Find a photo online and ask your barber to mimic it.
If he isn't from New York he probably won't know what you want.
