Okay... the old hag is his wife that he thinks is dead...but before Todd realizes who she is, he slits her throat. Later, he pushes Mrs.lovett(Helena bonham Carter) into the furnace after finding out she does not tell Todd his wife is alive. Her excuse for the deceit is that she is madly in love with Todd. Once she has burned to death, the small boy is unknowingly hiding. He then leaves his hiding place as Todd lies grieving by his dead wife. The boy slowly picks up Todd's knife off of the ground, and slits his throat. Indeed a bit gruesome. xDCan someone sum up the musical sweeney todd demon barber?
